A NOTE FROM THE TEAM;
We are very happy to announce that we have wrapped up the final studio recording session on Momentis, our full-length album which is set for official release this summer. We have enjoyed our time away from touring these last few months and are eager to share this ultra fresh music with all of you guys. Momentis is a follow-up to our 2010 release -Treehouse. This experimental journey began last June with our first run of recording @ Monkeyclaus Recording Studio with Peter Angelasto, head engineer and owner of this unique audio wonderland. The mission continued this past December in Asheville, NC with our good friend Anthony Thogmartin, guitarist of Papadosio, who engineered and produced the new record. We completed the recording process in early 2013, with one last trip to Asheville, and are now in the final stages of album prep, with a late-summer release in the forecast. We are excited to announce that we will be further expanding the SILO family this May. Matt Hughes, guitarist to Silo Effect, is welcoming his first child - Atlas Baker Hughes. There are many exciting things going on in the SILO universe at this time, and we are of course always grateful for the support from our fans and our family.
